Terms of Service and Refund Policy

1. CimientoApp's Role

CimientoApp is solely a connection platform between clients looking for home services and independent professionals who provide them. CimientoApp does not employ, supervise, certify, or guarantee the work of any professional using the platform.

2. Liability

Any work agreement, payment, quality, timeline, and service warranty is exclusively between the client and the professional. CimientoApp is not a party to that agreement and assumes no responsibility for disputes, damages, breaches, or the quality of work performed.

3. License and Insurance Declaration (Professionals)

By registering as a professional and checking the relevant box, you confirm under your own responsibility that you hold the appropriate licenses and liability insurance for the services you offer, or that you choose to operate without them and accept that responsibility. CimientoApp does not automatically verify these documents. If you upload an insurance document, it must be original and valid; submitting false documentation may have legal consequences.

4. Lead Charges (Professionals)

Professionals are only charged when they choose to unlock a potential client's contact ("lead"), never automatically. The cost of each lead is shown before the professional decides to unlock it.

5. Refund Policy (Professionals)

If a lead turns out to be invalid — for example, a fake phone number, the client denies having sent the request, or does not respond within 72 hours — the professional is entitled to a real cash refund, not just platform credits. To request a refund, email support@cimientoapp.com with the lead number in question.

6. Payments

All professional payments are processed securely through Stripe. CimientoApp does not store full card numbers.

7. Accounts and Termination

CimientoApp may suspend or terminate accounts that provide fraudulent information, abuse the platform, or violate these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CimientoApp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including disputes between clients and professionals.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of CimientoApp after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
